This is a piece I did for neverdiex, she loves my line work and has given me such wonderful replies I felt it was necessary to show her how much her support meant to me so I created this for her. I am rather pleased with it, sorta; if I were to redo it I would put more detail into the clothing. I may end up doing a series of illustrations with this character; I don’t know …we’ll see.

Thank you. The more I look at it the more I wish I didn’t put such a simple design in the clothing, but I wanted to hurry up and get it done so I could give it to my friend before school went on break, I decide to just imply the detail. It still took me about 8 hours to complete.

Amazing, 8 exclamation marks in total. This was the first time I ever tried to draw henna I am glade that I have had such a great response to this piece, very flattering. All I need to do now is come up with a name for this character, I think I’ll let some one else figure out a name for her.

XD I have some henna. I can't do great tattoos b/c my hands are shaky but I still try. As for a name, how about this: Divya which means "divine, heavenly" in Sanskrit. I have a website I go to to look up name meanings. [link]. they've got a lot of names and you can search for them by meanings, language, and whether they are masculine or feminine as well as many other things too!

I am amazed that I can do this quality of inking because of the way my hands shake. I have design tats for plenty of people but as for doing the tats themselves I’ll pass. I’ve only inked two people, myself being one of them, and that was the last time I do that. Way too shaky for that kind of work. The name, Divya, I love it! It has got me thinking on the next version of this character I am going to draw, I think I’ll place her name going down her shoulder blade and it will have to be in Sanskrit, of course. Can’t wait till I’m off of work so I can get started on it. Thank you.
